Hello!
I’m Tuby. I was a designer for years, after all these years of trying to find my passion, I finally met pottery in 2016 and I became a full time potter. I love the colors and effects that the glazes can give, and creating pieces that I love brings me joy and fuel my soul. I mean it. Most days I wake up excited just to touch the clay and create something new. I get random little ideas in my head, and sometimes these ideas become mugs, noodle bowls, incense burners or planters. I love making hand painted ceramics. My work is always growing and changing. I tend to just explore wherever my imagination takes me.
I work out of my home studio in Istanbul,Turkey with my wonderful boyfriend and fluffy children. He handles most of the processes for me. Lucky me! I have four dog-children. One of them is not here right now, but I know he is always with me.
